Kilchurn log cabin is located on the western shore of Loch Awe with beautiful views across the loch. The wood burning stove and relaxing wood fired hot tub are sure to make this the perfect retreat.

With an open plan living space, well equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a large bathroom, Kilchurn can accommodate up-to four people. Bedroom #1 sleeps 2 in a double bed while Bedroom #2 sleeps 2 in a pair of bunk beds.

The kitchen has an electric hob, oven, fridge, microwave, Nespresso machine with a full range of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. The lounge area offers comfortable seating, a dining table, a smart TV, Xbox, DVD player and is dominated by the expansive view of the loch, only a few meters in front of the cabin.
WiFi is provided by a mobile hotspot and is included. Local information books along with games, children’s books are provided. The spacious balcony is accessed via sliding patio doors and is furnished with a table and chairs. The wood fired hot tub has pre-light service available. Please advise if the hot tub is required when booking as there is an additional fee.

The cabin has electrical heating and double glazing and is suitable for year-round accommodation. Parking for two cars is available adjacent to the cabin. This is a non-smoking accommodation. Washing and drying for clothes is offered at the nearby laundry building. If you don’t fancy cooking dinner, go to the Village café 5 mins walk in Dalavich.

Dogs are most welcome and will love the forest walks or a dip in the water.

The cabin is situated in the Dalavich Chalet Park with wide-open spaces between cabins, guaranteeing peace and quiet even during busy periods. The park is within the Inverliever Forest which offers wonderful country walks in the immediate vicinity, as well as access to fishing, cycling, sailing and of course the rich wildlife. This unique cabin is perfect for a young family or for couples to enjoy a relaxing holiday in a unforgettable location.

Dalavich is central to the many and varied attractions in Argyll, such as The Avich Falls, Inveraray Castle, Oban and its famous distillery. It also offers a convenience store for amenities and basic groceries, and a café serving fabulous breakfasts, lunches and dinner.
